Job summary

ABB’s Process Industries Division in the United States, Canada and Mexico seeks a Contract Manager who will lead contract management strategy for assigned areas, ensuring adherence to policy and framework while focusing on risk mitigation and value capture.

You will collaborate across sales, project management, supply chain and legal teams, with a cross-border, cross-domain perspective. Hybrid work in Eastern/Central US time zone; travel to customer meetings and ABB offices may be required.

Qualifications

• You enjoy working as part of a team integrated into our business and have a keen interest in technology, automation and processes.
• You have a flair for contract and risk management, working in a pragmatic and collaborative way and can act as a bridge between various stakeholders and interested parties.
• You have 10 years of experience and a proven track record in contract management.
• Degree in contract management, project management, engineering, quantity surveying or similar from a reputable university.
• You are at ease communicating in English. French and Spanish is an asset

Responsibilities

• Leading and setting the strategy for contract management in consultation with the business and other functions.
• Ensuring activities follow Contract Management Framework and ABB policies and procedures.
• Enforcing ABB's contractual interests across the project lifecycle, including changes and commercial claims.
• Developing contract management strategy aligned with policies, customer requirements, and execution plans.
