Job summary

1106 Portercare Adventist Health System is seeking a contract management professional to assist business owners and contract managers with the contract management system. You will organize contract files, train users, and develop materials to support the contract lifecycle.

The role requires 3+ years in drafting contracts or lifecycle management and a Certified Paralegal credential. You will collaborate with Legal, Tax, Risk, and Corporate Responsibility, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in drafting contracts or contract life cycle management.
• Associate degree in a legal field preferred; Bachelor's in a related field also acceptable.
• Certified Paralegal (CP) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Business Owners and Contract Managers with questions about the contract management system.
• Organize and maintain contract files and database to track contracts and documents.
• Train and educate users on the contract management system and processes.
• Develop and maintain training materials for the contract management system.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations related to assigned tasks.
• Produce monthly or periodic contract status reports and track quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Legal, Corporate Responsibility, Tax, and Risk teams for effective contract management.
• Stay up to date with best practices to identify needs and improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Notify contract owners in advance of terms to facilitate renewals.
• Manage unique/complex projects assisting Business Owners with agreements and documentation.
• Serve as the primary contact with Business Owners during the contract life cycle.
