Job summary

DSV is seeking a Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement to lead the CIP across warehousing, transportation, and freight forwarding. You will drive end-to-endLean Six Sigma initiatives, establish ROI-backed opportunities, and govern project execution with cross-functional teams.

You will coach 2–3 junior CI professionals, partner with IE for labor standards, and push digital transformation via WMS/TMS and analytics. The role requires travel and multi-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, operations management, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or operations within 3PL/logistics/warehousing/freight forwarding or manufacturing.
• Experience leading Lean/Six Sigma projects with measurable results (Green/Black Belt preferred).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse/transportation operations, WMS/TMS systems, and labor management systems.
• Proficiency in process mapping, time studies, statistics, and improvement tools (5S, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, VSM, RCA).
• Excellent project management and cross-site coordination skills.
• Experience in multi-site/global 3PL or logistics networks; onboarding new sites/customers.
• Familiarity with automation/robotics evaluation and digital transformation in logistics.
• Operational and financial acumen (cost-to-serve, labor economics).
• Bias for action with data-driven results.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve CIP strategy across sites and regions with kaizen, DMAIC, and rapid-improvement initiatives.
• Establish and track savings/benefit pipeline with ROI documentation.
• Maintain CIP governance cadence linked to KPIs and perform stage-gate reviews.
• Lead training, coaching, and visible leadership to promote continuous improvement.
• Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, root cause analysis across warehousing and transportation.
• Redesign SOPs to reduce waste, variability, and improve throughput and labor productivity.
• Collaborate with IE to develop labor standards and slotting optimization.
• Identify automation and system enhancement opportunities (WMS/TMS, labor systems).
• Prepare business cases and present results to site/regional leadership and customers.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage change with structured communication and sustainment.
