Job summary

Target is seeking a Sr. Professional, Contingent Labor & Vendor Management System (VMS) to lead sourcing and onboarding of contingent labor across Stores, DCs, HQ, and enterprise functions.

You will optimize the VMS configuration and adoption, balancing strategic program management with hands‑on system expertise. You will partner with Technology, Product, and business teams to drive cost-effective, compliant, scalable solutions and deliver measurable outcomes for Target’s contingent labor

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with VMS systems and contingent labor is strongly preferred.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the VMS platform business expert, configuring workflows and optimizing adoption.
• Lead sourcing, onboarding, and management of contractors and professional services engagements.
• Partner with stakeholders to define sourcing strategies and deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Generate data insights to identify opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Cultivate relationships with suppliers and internal teams to meet Target’s goals.
