Job summary

HeartCentrix Solutions seeks Contingent Workforce Program Specialists for contract roles, open to remote candidates. The ideal candidate has hands-on VMS experience (Vndly preferred) and deep knowledge of contingent labor programs, suppliers, contracts, and SOW management.

You will build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, drive sourcing events from RFX to onboarding, draft and negotiate agreements, track performance, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with a VMS (Vendor Management System) is required.
• Vndly experience preferred; other VMS acceptable.
• Experience with contingent workforce programs is strongly preferred.
• Recruiting experience may be considered if you have supported contingent labor.
• Experience writing, reviewing, or negotiating contracts/SOWs is preferred.
• Strong organizational and tracking skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and service providers.
• Improve processes, communication, and program performance with business teams and suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure clear expectations and deliverables.
• Lead sourcing events from start to finish (RFX/RFP/RFQ).
• Coordinate vendor selection with internal teams.
• Support onboarding, staff augmentation, and down-selection decisions.
• Draft, review, negotiate contracts and SOWs.
• Track contracts, renewals, and deadlines.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead reviews.
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance reporting.
• Escalate issues between teams and suppliers.
• Develop corrective action plans with stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor governance and oversight activities.
• Contribute to other contingent workforce and procurement projects as needed.

Job description

We’re looking for Contingent Workforce Program Specialists to join our team. These are contract positions, and we’re open to remote candidates.

The ideal candidate has experience working with a VMS (Vendor Management System) and understands how contingent labor programs, suppliers, contracts, and SOWs work. We use Vndly, so Vndly experience is preferred, but experience with another VMS is definitely considered.

We need someone who can hit the ground running, stay organized, keep track of multiple moving pieces, and confidently work with internal teams and external suppliers.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and service providers.
• Work with business teams and suppliers to improve processes, communication, and overall program performance.
• Help manage supplier relationships and make sure expectations and deliverables are clear.
• Manage sourcing events from start to finish, including RFX/RFP/RFQ activities.
• Work with internal teams to understand their needs and coordinate the vendor selection process.
• Support supplier down-selection, award decisions, onboarding, and staff augmentation activities.
• Help with contract and SOW activities, including drafting language, reviewing terms, redlining, negotiating, and finalizing agreements.
• Track contracts and make sure renewals and other deadlines are handled on time.
• Monitor supplier performance and help lead supplier review meetings.
• Track supplier compliance and service-level requirements.
• Help develop and maintain supplier scorecards and performance reporting.
• Act as a point of escalation when issues come up between internal teams and suppliers.
• Work with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues and develop corrective action plans.
• Help ensure vendor governance and oversight activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Jump in on other contingent workforce and procurement-related projects as needed.

What we’re looking for

• VMS experience is required.
• Vndly experience is preferred, but experience with another VMS is acceptable.
• Experience working directly with a contingent workforce program is strongly preferred.
• Recruiting experience may also be considered, especially if you have experience supporting contingent labor.
• Experience writing, reviewing, or negotiating contracts and/or SOWs is preferred.
• Strong organizational and tracking skills — you’ll be managing a lot of moving pieces.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Someone who can come in and hit the ground running without needing a lot of hand-holding.
