Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead embedded content standards and workflows, partnering with content leaders to design taxonomy, metadata, and AI-enabled processes. You will coach teams, ship substantive content systems, and balance product execution with education outcomes.

You’ll work alongside content BU teams to improve publication quality, streamline production, and measure impact through data, with a hands-on approach at Pearson’s edge and a focus on scalable

Qualifications

Seven or more years of product management experience in content, publishing, or content platform domains.
Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata design, quality frameworks, structured content.

Responsibilities

Embed content standards inside real business unit work: global quality data standards, V1 taxonomy, metadata 95% target.
Redesign and shorten production workflows by reducing handoffs and rework.
Partner with content leaders through content strategy, planning, and craft, earning trust by doing the work.
Guide teams to high-quality plans and content strategy tied to learner jobs and outcomes, to MRDs/PRDs.
