Job summary

Cambium Assessment is seeking a Senior Content Advisor - Product Development to lead innovative assessment content and work with senior leaders across divisions. This role focuses on research-driven design, development, and implementation of assessment products for K-12 education, with strong emphasis on collaboration and client-facing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, or related degree reflecting pedagogy; 8+ years in content for large-scale summative assessments.
• Deep content knowledge with experience in innovative assessment products.
• Experience leading people, programs, or initiatives in education or assessment environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development of innovative assessment products from research to implementation.
• Contributes to and executes complex plans vetted by Test Development leadership.
• Presents in TAC meetings as a content specialist to senior leadership.
• Manages client and stakeholder expectations and resolves requests promptly.
• Identifies and escalates complex issues, offering solutions across departments.
• Collaborates across divisions as needed to support program goals.
• Contributes to content test development as a senior reviewer on projects.
• Drives client-facing meetings, content advisory, rubric validation, and data review as needed.
• Leads Content and Test Development training, including standard setting preparation.
• Contributes to proposal work as needed.
