Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking an ELA Senior Content Advisor - Product Development to lead innovative assessment content and collaborate with senior leadership across divisions. The role emphasizes deep content knowledge, advanced presentation skills, and a track record of educational assessment development.

The position is remote in the United States, with travel 1–10 times per year, and requires a strong background in Principled Assessment Design and educational research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Educational Leadership or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience developing content for large-scale summative assessments or equivalent.
• Deep content knowledge is required.
• Experience with innovative assessment products, including research, design, development, and implementation, is highly preferred.
• Experience leading people, programs, or projects in education or assessment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development of innovative assessment products from research through implementation.
• Contributes to and executes complex plans vetted by Test Development leadership.
• Presents in TAC meetings and to senior leadership as a content specialist.
• Manages client and stakeholder expectations and resolves requests timely.
• Identifies and escalates complex issues and proposes solutions.
• Works collaboratively across divisions as needed.
• Contributes to content test development as a senior reviewer across projects.
• Leads client-facing meetings for standard setting, rubric validation, and data review.
• Drives Content and Test Development training and standard setting preparation.
• Contributes to proposal work when needed.
