Job summary

Cambium Assessment, a leader in statewide online assessments, seeks a Manager with strong math content and test development expertise. This role involves leading content development, coordinating teams, and presenting to senior leadership aboard a remote-first environment.

The candidate should have a deep understanding of the U.S. Education System, experience with large-scale assessments, and strong collaboration skills. Remote work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Math Education with substantial experience in large-scale assessment development.
• Experience leading content development for summative assessments preferred.
• Strong collaboration and presentation skills with senior leadership.
• Familiarity with U.S. Education System and Education Assessment.

Responsibilities

• May manage a team of Test Developers and Item Writers.
• Contributes to and executes complex plans for test development.
• Manages client and stakeholder expectations and resolves requests.
• Identifies risks to scope, schedule and budget and escalates as needed.
• Presents in TAC meetings as a content specialist to leadership.
• Drives content and test development training and standard setting.
• Oversees client-facing meetings and content advisory sessions as needed.
