Job summary

Capital One is seeking a content designer to join the Experience Design team in McLean, VA. You will shape content strategy and craft accessible, human-centered experiences across digital products and communications.

You’ll lead design work, mentor peers, collaborate with product, tech and business partners, and contribute to a mature design system while navigating regulated, data-heavy environments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in content design, content strategy, or UX writing.
• 6+ years of experience in content design, content strategy, or UX writing.
• 5+ years of experience working with and contributing to an established design system.
• 6+ years of experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners.
• Experience leading design projects or teams.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces.

Responsibilities

• Content Design Expertise: craft compelling, accurate and accessible digital content across web, email, push notifications and chatbots.
• Leadership: lead design projects, mentor teammates and partner with stakeholders.
