Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Content Designer (Product Design) at Manager Level – Individual Contributor to join the Experience Design team. This hybrid role requires onsite work 3 days per week in McLean, NY, or Richmond, with cross‑location collaboration to shape product experiences.

You’ll lead design projects, mentor teammates, and translate data, research and business needs into accessible, human‑centered content that guides strategy.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of content design, content strategy, or UX writing experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership, process, results and impact.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration across product, tech and business teams.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects and mentor junior designers, building partnerships with stakeholders.
