Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a goal oriented, incentive based sales role.
• 1+ years of experience in the consumer finance industry preferred.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work well independently, as well as a dedicated team member.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Willingness to comply with employment credit check, background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Acts to originate new loan business with new and existing customers.
• Evaluates customer needs to recommend the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions.
• Completes loan applications, proposals and offers for new borrowers and follows up with pending applicants.
• Explains the loan process and answers questions about loan products and processing.
• Maintains ownership of customer concerns and works with management on strategy for problem loans.
• Closes loans, assembles loan folders, and breaks down files.
• Meets or exceeds loan goals consistently.
• Manages day-to-day servicing of a growing consumer loan portfolio.
• Applies analytical skills to resolve customer issues quickly.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
