Andrews Federal is seeking a Consumer & Indirect Loan Officer in Maryland to underwrite quality consumer loans, including indirect dealership loans and direct loans, in compliance with applicable laws. You will communicate with dealers daily, gather documentation, and ensure complete loan packages for approval.

The role requires experience in underwriting, strong math skills, and the ability to mentor staff. This hybrid position may require occasional Saturdays to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years loan underwriting experience or college degree with related lending exposure.
• Working knowledge of Reg B, Reg Z, and FCRA.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Analyze loan applications and supporting documents to make sound underwriting decisions.
• Underwrite both indirect dealership loans and direct loans.
• Mentor and QC loans for junior Loan Officers and oversee underwriting operations.
• Collaborate with managers to grow dealer participation and cross-sell opportunities.
