JPMorgan Chase’s Legal Department seeks an Attorney - Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in the Consumer Banking Legal Team to provide strategic guidance across marketing, deposits, lending, and investment products. You will work with business partners, risk, and compliance on regulatory matters including UDAAP and privacy laws.

Competenze

• JD admitted to practice and member of the bar in good standing in the state where the candidate will practice.
• 5+ years of legal experience in a government/regulatory agency or large consumer banking organization, law firm, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of banking products and the core banking regulations and regulatory framework.

• Develop subject matter expertise and collaborate with stakeholders to support community and business development and financial health education initiatives.
• Provide strategic and practical legal advice to operations handling fraud and complex account changes.
• Internalize the firm’s risk appetite to advise on new business processes while upholding customer and employee fairness and fortress controls.
• Advise and collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Risk, Compliance and Controls Departments.
• Monitor and advise on relevant legislative and regulatory changes.
• Own issues from start-to-finish to support the evolving business area and leverage cross-firm expertise.
