Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Vice President for the Consumer and Community Banking Regulatory Affairs team to shape regulatory strategy and execute initiatives across the bank. You will engage with internal business units, manage external relationships, and help prioritize policy priorities aligned with business goals.

You will drive advocacy with regulators and associations, build senior-level relationships, and prepare briefing materials for executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6+ years of policy/government experience with regulatory affairs/public policy.
  • Experience driving public policy priorities with trade associations, corporations, or government.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior management, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational and PM skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support CCB Regulatory Affairs with strategic direction and execution of regulatory initiatives.
  • Develop advocacy strategies to advance policy priorities with US regulators and industry groups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with CCB stakeholders and external partners.
  • Manage relationships with US regulators and policymakers; represent the firm externally.
  • Prepare briefing materials for senior management and leaders.
  • Coordinate with partners to develop regulatory policy positions.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to drive timely completion and communication.
  • Communicate the firm’s regulatory policy positions in meetings and public forums.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on business strategy.
  • Foster an inclusive team culture and professional growth.
