Job summary

Red Hat is seeking a Consulting Services Account Specialist 3 to lead delivery and resolution of sophisticated services sales engagements. You will work with account teams to drive long-term services strategies, mentor junior staff, and coordinate across Red Hat functions to meet regional targets.

You will strategically drive new business in Consulting, Training, and TAM, cultivate executive relationships, and develop winning proposals with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Services Sales or 5+ years in Services Delivery.
• Knowledge of consulting, training, and support offerings.
• Understanding of budgets, procurement, and contracts.
• Ability to articulate business value of complex technical concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, both remote and in person.
• Proven revenue and bookings track record.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience closing large, solution-oriented opportunities.
• CRM familiarity to input lead data regularly.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Strategically drive new business in Consulting, Training, and TAM in selected accounts with account teams and specialists.
• Cultivate executive and practitioner relationships within the customer.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals and Red Hat solutions.
• Generate new opportunities through existing relationships and events.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to closure.
• Report revenue, forecast, pipeline, and status metrics timely.
• Align with delivery to identify follow-on business across projects.
• Support customers' adoption of Red Hat technology through orchestration of solutions.
