This role involves conducting comprehensive property loss control surveys, evaluating risks, and providing actionable recommendations to clients. Your tasks
Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and other relevant standards.
Develop recommendations including loss estimates before and after implementation.
Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
Report on building construction, occupancy, hazards, and natural risks.
Create loss estimates based on scenarios like the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.
Provide training, peer reviews, and serve as a technical resource for other consultants.
Assist in training, manual development, code interpretation, and client proposals.
Engage with upper management, including risk and financial managers, demonstrating professional conduct and excellent communication skills.
Manage projects including site visits, plan reviews, and presentations.
Maintain work records in the database.
Respond to client and internal communications.
Perform fieldwork, report writing, consulting, and plan reviews.
Adjust workload as needed.
Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and traverse various terrains.
Travel up to 50%, including potential overseas assignments.
