Travelers in Franklin, TN seeks an Account Executive Officer, Construction to partner with agents and brokers, providing coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs. You will assess complex risk, negotiate terms, and contribute to profitability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 6–8 years of underwriting experience in construction or oil and gas, CPCU designation, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Travel to meet with partners is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex accounts to minimize risk.
• Build relationships with internal partners to create sales plans.
• Meet with agents and brokers to market Travelers products.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities.
• Develop agency sales plans with MD to drive regional targets.
• Assist in training less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
