Job summary

SourceBlue, a Turner Construction Company subsidiary, seeks a procurement professional to provide services defined by contract documents for dedicated clients and projects in Reston, VA. You will review specifications, manage vendor bids, and coordinate with architects, suppliers, and owners to align with project budgets and schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of procurement or construction experience, with strong communication and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Supply Chain, or related field with minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Broad knowledge of construction products (e.g., Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical)
• Knowledge of contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
• Ability to interpret contract documents and perform qualitative/quantitative analysis of documents
• Project management skills to manage deadlines and budgets
• Proficiency with MS Office and collaborative tools

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement services per contract documents for assigned SourceBlue clients and projects
• Review contract documents, equipment and procurement packages for compliance
• Identify and resolve procurement issues with Architects, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Owners
• Manage project submittals, shop drawings, and vendor coordination to ensure schedule adherence
• Develop and track purchase orders and vendor requirements
• Prepare and maintain project reports (budget, cost, change orders)
• Contribute to close-out documents (RFI, warranties, as-builts, OMs) and site visits
• Other duties as assigned
