Job summary

SourceBlue is seeking a procurement professional to provide procurement services for assigned clients and projects in the SourceBlue division. You will review contract documents, coordinate with vendors, and manage submittals and shop drawings to ensure compliance with contract specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities include negotiating change orders, developing purchase orders, and maintaining project cost reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Supply Chain, or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Broad knowledge of construction products; knowledge of scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and construction accounting procedures.
• Ability to interpret contract documents and project schedules; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement services per contract documents for SourceBlue clients and projects.
• Review contracts, equipment, and procurement packages for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Identify, address, and resolve procurement issues with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors, and Owner Representatives.
• Understand and adhere to established project budgets.
• Develop Purchase Orders and track vendor requirements; communicate to SourceBlue team.
• Develop and maintain project reports (budget, cost), equipment tracking, change order, and close-out logs.
• Perform close-out activities including RFIs, warranties, O&M manuals, attic stock, and spare parts.
