Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a procurement professional for SourceBlue projects in Maryland. The role oversees procurement services, contract compliance, and vendor coordination on complex construction programs.

You will manage bids, purchase orders, and change orders, while ensuring alignment with budgets and project schedules. Strong communication and document control are essential in this role, with travel 30-40% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Broad knowledge of construction products and procurement processes.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement services as defined by contract documents for SB clients and projects.
• Review contract documents, equipment and procurement packages for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors, and Owner Representatives.
• Manage project budgets and track scope and change implications.
• Develop Purchase Orders and communicate with the SourceBlue team.
• Prepare vendor bid packages, evaluate bids, and negotiate changes.
• Produce and maintain project reports, submittals, and close-out records.
