Job summary

SourceBlue, a Turner Construction Company subsidiary, seeks a SB Supply Chain Specialist - Global Programs to provide procurement services for assigned SourceBlue clients and projects. You will review contract documents, manage vendor bids, develop purchase orders, and track budgets while coordinating with architects, subcontractors, suppliers and owner representatives to keep projects on schedule.

Internal applicants may perform this position from any Turner office; travel for site and vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction/SC with at least 4 years of related experience
• Broad knowledge of construction products (architectural, mechanical, electrical)
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
• Strong project management skills to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication and professional presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement services as defined by contract documents for assigned SourceBlue clients and projects
• Review contracts, equipment and procurement packages for compliance with drawings and specifications
• Identify and resolve procurement issues with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors, and Owner Representatives
• Understand and adhere to established project budgets
• Manage submittals and shop drawings; assess conformance to contract specs and resolve conflicts
• Schedule and manage vendor coordination and preconstruction/submittal review meetings to ensure schedule adherence
• Review project scope of work docs, coordination matrices, and bid response forms for vendor bid packages
• Receive and level vendor bids and cross-check against project documents for technical compliance
• Negotiate, document, and manage change order requests with vendors and clients
• Conduct analysis of estimates for vendor requests, approvals, and conflict resolutions, and submit to supervisor for approval
• Develop Purchase Orders and track vendor requirements; communicate to centralized SourceBlue team
• Develop and maintain project reports (budget, cost), equipment tracking, change order, and close-out logs
• Contribute to close-out process to ensure compliance with contract documents and prepare final close-out records
• Conduct project site and vendor factory visits to learn and understand product development and use on projects
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned
