Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field teams on simple and combined cycle power projects in Overland Park, KS. The role requires coordinating day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring safety and quality, and aligning with project schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field construction teams on power generation projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site subcontractor activities to support safe, efficient execution of simple cycle and combined cycle construction work.
• Coordinate site access, daily work planning, and field logistics.
• Support implementation of the Project Construction Execution Plan and provide leadership to superintendents.
• Monitor productivity, schedule performance, and field progress against budget and client expectations.
• Partner with subcontractors and project leadership to develop schedule recovery plans.
