Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest seeks a Senior Superintendent to oversee daily site operations, scheduling, production, and procurement for major projects. The role supervises direct labor and contracted work to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

The candidate will travel to project sites as required, coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients, and enforce safety and company policies across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent
• 5+ years of large-scale commercial construction experience
• Experience leading mission-critical projects such as life sciences or semiconductor facilities
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites
• Reads blueprints accurately and understands building codes and design requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to plan procedures for construction and staffing
• Develop and use look-ahead schedules with Project Manager
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings with Project Manager
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules
• Inform all parties of construction progress and issues regularly
• Resolve labor disputes with supervisory personnel and labor representatives
• Inspect work for conformance to specifications and schedules
• Manage project by monitoring progress, materials, and costs
• Move personnel between projects to optimize labor costs
• Prepare the Project Management Plan with Project Manager
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are maintained
• Perform other duties as assigned
