Job summary

Blattner is seeking a seasoned construction leader to champion Standard Work, safety, and quality across project sites in the United States. You will act as a technical advisor, ensuring adherence to procedures, coaching leadership personnel, and promoting efficient, cost-conscious practices in collaboration with site teams.

The role requires a four-year degree, 7+ years leading construction teams, strong communications, and the ability to travel weekly.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Seven+ years leading construction teams or proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent communication and people skills across organizational levels and clients.
• Ability to translate technical material clearly when needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA construction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Champion Standard Work, Work Methods, and Lessons Learned, with focus on Safety and Quality.
• Assess culture and ensure Standard Work is followed across projects for safety, quality, and cost control.
• Develop Standard Work documents with the Quality department to improve methods.
• Provide technical training and leadership development on Standard Work and procedures.
• Collaborate with EHS Managers to enforce safety programs and policies.
• Evaluate supervisors for competency, advancement, wages, and bonuses.
• Coordinate movement of supervisory personnel and equipment as needed.
• Assist in recruitment of leadership personnel through interviews and hiring.
• Advise site teams on technical aspects to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Communicate with Site Manager/Project Manager to resolve project/resource issues.
• Adhere to company policies and Corporate Values; comply with regulations.
• Support project managers and field staff with methods, progress, and costs.
• Stay informed on market trends for equipment, tools, and materials.
