CDM Smith is seeking an experienced construction project manager to oversee complex programs from planning through turnover. You will coordinate multiple disciplines, lead site teams, manage budgets, schedules, and quality, and maintain client relationships.

The role involves extensive collaboration with engineers, estimators, and field personnel, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering projects on time and within scope.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent. 10 years of related experience with at least 4 in construction management/supervision.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• The frequency of travel is contingent on duties, responsibilities and workload.

Responsabilidades

• Manages projects against plans to ensure budget, schedule and quality are met and projects are completed as per design requirements/specifications.
• Develops project completion plans and timelines to meet customer expectations and deliver critical project components.
• Establishes project responsibilities matrices with leadership including superintendents, foremen, project managers and vendors.
• Ensures safety standards and regulations are followed and required reporting is completed.
• Reviews, negotiates, and approves change orders.
• Develops and implements plans for project completion and turnover.
• Engages with management, clients, and subcontractors in open communication regarding all areas of project completion.
• Leads meetings with clients to conduct project planning and to resolve issues that arise during project completion.
• Manages the day-to-day activity of all construction project staff.
• Provides feedback on performance appraisals and training of staff.
