CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a skilled construction professional to oversee subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and manage project documentation.

The role requires coordinating with the Project Construction Manager, maintaining schedules, and producing routine progress and quality reports. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma with years of experience or an advanced degree with corresponding experience in Construction Management or related fields.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality and adherence to drawings.
• Maintains schedule adherence and escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports and ensures latest design revisions are used.
• Supports Project Construction Manager and may handle key trades or subcontractors.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
