Ideal candidates will have extensive construction project experience, travel flexibility, and a strong background in ensuring compliance with company policies and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• The frequency of travel is contingent on duties and workload.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Leads portions of the prime project contract with staff management.
• Advises manager on the project portion and implements project plan.
• Manages staffing, identifies outside resources and ensures procurement processes.
• Communicates deadlines, assignments and objectives to project team.
• Coaches staff and escalates performance issues to management and HR.
• Identifies and communicates residual risk (time and cost).
• Prepares client billings and follows up on payments; reviews subcontractor invoices.
• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and work breakdown structures.
• Assesses risk and outlines mitigation strategies.
• Ensures adherence to PM policies and practices.
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships and ensures client satisfaction.
