Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a driven construction leader to manage complex projects from kickoff to completion on-site across Texas. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors while ensuring safety, budget, and schedule adherence.

Travel to multiple sites may be required and you will report to the regional manager. The role emphasizes leadership, quality, integrity, and collaboration with owners and design teams.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience.
• OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning.
• Prepare a schedule of construction activities, organization structure, staff, and equipment requirements.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule while ensuring profit.
• Assist the project manager/engineer with duties including material shipments and shop drawings approvals.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate their work with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of schedule changes.
• Assist in preparation of job progress and cost reports.
• Review and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and significant reports.
• Cooperate with owners and representatives and stay informed on progress.
• Hold job site meetings with PM and regional manager.
• Report progress, plans, and problems to PM.
• Maintain a daily diary of significant facts and progress.
• Adhere to the company safety program in all phases.
• Make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize people, tools, and equipment to complete activities.
• Demonstrate leadership and address conflicts.
• Maintain commitment to quality and client expectations.
• Act with integrity and align with company values.
