Job summary

McGough is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on complex construction projects. You will oversee field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality control across all phases from preconstruction to closeout.

The role requires 5-10+ years in construction, OSHA 30 certification, and strong leadership and communication skills. Expect regular travel to various jobsites and regional offices, with a focus on Lean practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-10+ years of construction-related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Proficiency with computer applications and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on active projects.
• Supervise Senior and Assistant Superintendents and coordinate weekly plans and logistics.
• Maintain and update project schedules; ensure timely documentation and reporting.
• Manage project budgets and forecasts for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Support procurement, subcontractor selection, and trade scope reviews.
• Lead safety orientations, site meetings, and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
