Job summary

McGough is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex projects, coordinating subcontracts, safety, schedule and budget with the Sr. Project Manager. This role emphasizes Lean methodologies and continuous improvement across project teams.

Candidates should have 10–12+ years in construction, OSHA 30, and a track record of mentoring site leaders. Willingness to travel is required for project coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent, required.
• 10-12+ years of construction-related experience overseeing multiple superintendents and crews.
• Experience adjusting field labor across projects is required.
• Experience mentoring Superintendents and Assistants through training programs.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Current OSHA 30 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on assigned projects.
• Develop, manage, and adjust project schedules with the PM team.
• Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and procurement.
• Ensure safety compliance and lead OSHA-related activities.
• Coordinate quality control plans and site documentation.
• Lead lean methodologies and continuous improvement on site.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
