Job summary

McGough Construction CO, LLC is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead planning and oversight of assigned construction projects from pre to post construction. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget control while mentoring field teams and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires extensive field experience, OSHA 30, and strong leadership with the ability to drive continuous improvement and Lean practices on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 12+ years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
• 10-12+ years of construction-related experience supervising larger projects.
• Experience adjusting field labor between projects.
• Experience mentoring Superintendents and Assistants.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and Lean practices.
• Current OSHA 30 certification.
• Preferred: two- or four-year degree in construction.
• 15+ years of field-related experience.
• LEED AP or other green building certifications.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction and development tasks including pursuits, proposals, interviews and site logistics.
• Manage project budget, labor, materials and equipment in collaboration with Project Management.
• Oversee field staff, subcontractors and suppliers and review weekly work plans and schedules.
• Develop and adjust project schedules; liaise with management to ensure updates.
• Coordinate RFIs, procurements, and material/equipment logistics.
• Monitor quality and safety; resolve on-site conflicts to minimize disruptions.
• Track project expenses to stay within budget; ensure QC plan adherence.
• Lead Lean initiatives and continuous improvement on-site.
• Provide leadership in safety meetings and OSHA compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, design teams and subcontractors.
• Support hiring, onboarding and development of team members.
