Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Lead superintendent on at least one project.
• Experience on projects up to $80M preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advocates safety as priority on the jobsite and enforces safety plans and policies.
• Supervises, directs, and coordinates management of construction projects with owner, designers, and subcontractors for efficient performance.
• Develops and implements detailed schedules and production plans with budget and safety goals.
• Assists Project Manager in preparing project status reports.
• Responsible for daily reports, progress reports, compliance reports and logs.
• Oversees review of plans and drawings per contract documents and coordinates shop drawings.
• Procures tools and materials needed for the project to ensure availability per the work schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and timing considering methods and tool availability.
• Recruits, hires and directs on-site field personnel in line with HR processes.
• Prepares payroll documentation and HR/Payroll compliance.
• Resolves complaints and grievances with HR/Legal assistance.
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to improve construction methods.
• Ensures schedules are adhered to by managing staffing and procurement.
• Supervises and coordinates subcontractors for compliance with terms.
• Follows and enforces company policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and oversees regulatory inspection.
