Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an experienced traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale Industrial and Aerospace projects. The role is based in our Nashville, TN office, with travel to job sites across GA, AL, NC, SC, and FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience
• Industrial or Industrial/Aerospace experience preferred
• Knowledge of local, state and federal rules including OSHA
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents
• Effective verbal and written communication; present information to management and clients
• Basic math and computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional attitude and appearance
• People management skills

Responsibilities

• Advocates safety as number one priority on the jobsite and enforces safety plans and regulations
• Supervises, coordinates, and communicates with owners, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project progress
• Develops and implements schedules and production plans with budgets and safety targets
• Oversees payroll submissions and HR/payroll documentation
• Reviews plans and drawings for contract compliance and coordinates shop drawings
• Procures tools and materials to meet the project schedule
• Determines staffing levels and procurement timing for each project phase
• Recruits and directs onsite field personnel according to HR processes
• Interacts with supervisors, engineers, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction issues
• Ensures schedules are met by proper staffing and procurement
• Coordinates and oversees subcontractors to ensure compliance with terms
• Follows and enforces company policies; coordinates regulatory inspections
