Job summary

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent for Florida projects.

You will oversee field activities, enforce safety, control costs, ensure quality, and manage schedules across one or more educational or commercial projects. Work closely with the management team, clients, architects, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 5 years’ experience as a commercial construction Superintendent (K-12/Higher Education preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field activities, safety, cost control, quality, and scheduling across one or more projects.
• Coordinate and lead the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Proactively anticipate issues and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Continuously develop leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
• Create, implement, and monitor site logistics and OSHA compliance.
• Plan and coordinate daily/weekly activities, lead meetings, and maintain records.
• Monitor the construction schedule, adjust look-ahead plans as needed.
• Ensure workplace safety and exceptional client service; report issues promptly.
