Job summary

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations in Florida, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery. You will coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to drive projects forward and maintain robust site records.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and the ability to read schedules and control costs while upholding OSHA standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 5 years’ experience as a commercial construction Superintendent.
• K-12/Higher Education experience preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Meet high-quality standards under aggressive schedules.
• Demonstrate accountability and leadership.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce contracts, schedules, and pay applications.
• Coordinate and lead the project team, assisting with business development and preconstruction.
• Anticipate potential issues and take corrective action.
• Develop leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
• Create and monitor site logistics and OSHA compliance.
• Plan daily/weekly activities and lead meetings; maintain records.
• Monitor schedule and adjust as needed.
• Maintain site safety and quality control plan.
• Keep complete site records and punch lists; manage subcontractors.
• Coordinate material procurement with subs and schedules.
• Assist in bid scopes and RFIs; monitor costs with management.
• Follow company policies and training; participate in ongoing training.
• Deliver exceptional client service and support project success.
