Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead construction projects in California. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising production and workforce while ensuring high-quality results.

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of heavy civil construction experience and strong management skills. A Bachelor's degree and STS certification are preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits including 401(k), medical plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• 3+ years construction management experience required.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work.
• Coordinate with internal equipment team and external vendors.
• Supervise sub-contractor production and workforce.

Skills

Heavy civil construction experience

Construction management experience

Written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of construction site safety protocols

Ability to read and interpret project specifications
