Job summary

FlatironDragados seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead heavy civil construction projects in Augusta, GA. You will manage earthworks, grading, and scheduling, while coordinating with crews, engineers, and utility partners to ensure safety and compliance with contract drawings.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record of meeting demanding schedules, and the ability to mentor field teams. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus, and STS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience focused on earthworks and grading.
• 7+ years in construction management leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs, and schedules for assigned projects.
• Review project specifications and coordinate with crews, field engineers, and utilities.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure equipment and materials meet project needs and budgets.
• Forecast schedules and provide scheduling recommendations to mitigate issues.
• Identify and address project risks, safety, and site documentation requirements.
