Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead and coordinate heavy civil construction projects in Raleigh, NC. You will manage scheduling, crews, and coordination with engineers and subcontractors to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in heavy civil construction and 3+ years in construction management, with strong written and verbal communication and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• 3+ years construction management experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree a plus.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work.
• Review project specifications and coordinate with crews, engineers, and utilities to identify hazards.
• Coordinate with equipment teams and vendors to ensure adequate equipment and materials within budget and schedule.
• Provide input to resolve project risks including construction methods and safety and schedule activities.
• Promote adherence to safety and process controls on site and identify training needs.
• Supervise subcontractor production and adjust work schedules as needed.
