Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Omaha seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead, direct, and coordinate subcontractors and Turner trade labor on active projects. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and adherence to budget, while supervising Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, interns, and craft teams.

The role reports to the Project Superintendent, Project Manager, or Project Executive.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years' related experience/training.
Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct and coordinate work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor.
Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and adherence to budget.
Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade labor.
Create schedules and determine sequencing of work; develop recovery strategies to maintain schedule.
Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues; resolve such issues.
Manage billing related to Work In Place (WIP) and progress payments; ensure contract documents compliance.
