Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Indianapolis seeks an experienced construction professional to support the Superintendents and Foremen on our projects, overseeing trade labor hire, transfer and layoff to maintain staffing levels and productivity. You will coordinate assignments, review schedules with field leaders, and ensure ROJ dates are met while documenting issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule.

• Bachelor's degree plus ten years of related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, SAP and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel 50%+.

Responsibilities

• Support Superintendents and Foremen on project sites.
• Oversee trade labor hiring, transfer and layoff processes.
• Coordinate assignments of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
• Review project schedules with field leaders to meet ROJ dates.
• Document field issues impacting budget, quality or schedule.
• Respond to subcontractor requests that affect budget, quality or schedule.
• Provide oversight for the development of a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
• Support QA/QC program implementation and safety initiatives.
• Identify self-perform opportunities and assist in proposals.
