Job summary

Jobot seeks a Project Superintendent in Michigan to oversee construction projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate crews, manage subcontractors, build schedules, and ensure safety and quality across diverse projects in the Grand Rapids area.

The role emphasizes leadership, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with multiple departments to keep projects on time and within scope. A strong track record in PM and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a similar construction project role.
• Experience leading crews and managing subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of PM principles and field operations.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage safety standards and compliance.
• Familiarity with project management software and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle and ensure plan adherence.
• Prepare and deliver 4-week lookaheads to manage expectations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to meet standards and timelines.
• Lead crews, ensuring coordination and efficiency.
• Allocate manpower across tasks for optimal productivity.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with departments and report progress regularly.
• Identify issues or delays and implement effective solutions.
