Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent in West Michigan to oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial projects. This hands-on leadership role requires ownership from groundbreaking to closeout, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and best practices.
• Experience with industrial, institutional, and/or mixed-use project types preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor scheduling and sequencing.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout construction phases.
• Coordinate with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation.
• Lead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with trade partners.
