Job summary

Johnson-Laux Construction in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on our commercial projects, including new construction and renovations. You will coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners to keep work safe, organized, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial GC experience, preferably in K-12, healthcare, or government sectors, with strong blueprint reading,

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial construction experience with a GC, including renovation and new construction.
K-12, healthcare, and/or government construction experience preferred.
Strong blueprint reading, building code knowledge, planning, scheduling, forecasting, coordination, and problem-solving.
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Organized, self-motivated, professional, and accountable with attention to detail.
Knowledge of the South Carolina construction market; valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities
