Job summary

Carolina Search Group is seeking a Superintendent for a prominent South Carolina project portfolio. The role requires proactive leadership, strong management and superior communication across teams, with a proven safety record in construction.

You will oversee employees and subcontractors, coordinate all construction-related matters, and travel statewide with per diem. The ideal candidate has K-12 school construction experience and a track record in estimating commercial projects.

Qualifications

• K-12 school construction experience required.
• 5–7 years minimum experience estimating commercial construction projects.
• Experience with K-12 schools, municipal buildings and industrial buildings is highly helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish.
• Manage employees and oversee subcontractors.
• Coordinate safety programs and ensure workplace safety.
• Travel around the state (per diem provided) and coordinate with site teams.
