Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for a long-term project in Sandusky, Ohio. The assignment spans 12 months with on-site responsibilities, including subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality control.

Non-local candidates are encouraged to apply; Sevan provides lodging, travel coverage, and a vehicle allowance. Candidates should have 10+ years in commercial/institutional construction and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial or institutional construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent on ground-up and/or major renovation projects.
• Strong concrete construction experience—foundations, slab-on-grade, formwork, reinforcing steel, and concrete placement.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and maintain aggressive schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day field operations on a complex commercial/institutional construction project
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, safety, quality, and schedule performance
• Drive project milestones through detailed planning and coordination
• Conduct daily field meetings and weekly look-ahead planning sessions
• Coordinate inspections, turnover activities, and owner-facing site meetings
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent Sevan on-site throughout the project lifecycle
