Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Site Safety Supervisor to support project staff and the safety team in implementing corporate safety standards across North America. The role focuses on building a zero-injury safety culture, conducting weekly site inspections, and coordinating safety orientations for new workers.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, 4–7 years in construction safety, and OSHA 30-hour certification (OSHA 500 a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
• 4-7 years of safety experience in building construction, or combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of field experience minimum.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program and conduct jobsite orientations.
• Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractors to define roles in the safety program.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
• Facilitate safety training for site personnel and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Investigate incidents and maintain all required safety records.
