Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Site Safety Supervisor to support project staff and the safety team in enforcing corporate safety standards across North America. You will help develop the project safety program, conduct orientations, and promote a zero-injury culture on each site.

Responsibilities include weekly safety meetings, subcontractor safety plan reviews, and regular inspections. This role requires OSHA certifications and field experience on construction sites, with travel to nationwide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
• 4-7 years of safety experience or combination of education and years of experience in building construction.
• 5+ years of field experience minimum.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientations for new project employees.
• Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractors.
• Lead weekly safety meetings with subcontractor representatives and project staff.
• Facilitate training for site personnel per OSHA and company standards.
• Investigate incidents and generate proper reports.
• Maintain safety records and logs.
