Job summary

BLHI is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead site safety, health, and environmental programs on construction projects. You will supervise site safety personnel, enforce regulations, and coordinate with management, medical staff, and insurers.

The role requires at least 10 years of safety experience, 5 years in construction, OSHA 30- Construction, and strong training skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and risk management principles is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school or trade school; 10+ years safety, incl 5 years construction project experience.
• OSHA 30-hour for Construction and/or USACE EM385-1-1 40-hour course.
• Industry certifications/accreditation; documented skills training.
• Preferred: degree in a relevant field; advanced emergency response training.

Responsibilities

• Enforce applicable federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
• Proactively identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes.
• Coordinate with executives, medical staff, insurers, and risk engineers.
• Serve as the project safety, health and environmental technical advisor.
