Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead site safety, health and environmental programs at Holloman Air Force Base, NM. You will enforce regulations, supervise safety staff, and coordinate with project management, medical staff, and insurers.

The role requires 10+ years of safety experience, OSHA 30/EM385 training, and strong knowledge of construction safety standards. You will develop training materials, conduct incident investigations, and drive continuous safety

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Education and/or Trade School.
• 10 years of general safety experience including 5 years of construction project experience.
• Industry Certification/Accreditation.
• OSHA 30-hour for Construction and/or EM385-1-1 40-hour course.
• Documented Skills Training.
• Preferred: Degree in a relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Advanced emergency response training (EMT, Hazmat, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Enforce all applicable federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
• Proactively recognize hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes.
• Coordinate with executive, project management, occupational medicine clinics, insurers.
• Function as project’s safety, health and environmental technical advisor.
• Establish relationships with project team, owner’s safety counterpart, and risk engineers.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendor safety counterparts.
• Engage emergency response authorities and ensure positive community exposure.
